Tim Patrick (b.1988) is an artist based in London and the South West, working and exhibiting in London and Brighton.
Having studied traditional portrait painting in Florence, Italy, Tim has subsequently attended the University of Brighton where he received First Class Honours, and most recently the Royal Drawing School in London.
“Being a painter, I am fascinated how the representation of the visual world can reinvent and reinterpret a subject. Memory and reality are the two principal interests of mine, and the dual realities of seeing, and experiencing.”
A frequent tutor at Draw in Brighton, Tim works as a freelance arts tutor, teaching classes on the figure, life drawing and painting, and how to develop more complex painting projects.
His work was recently featured in the 2018 Threadneedle Prize and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters exhibition at the Mall Galleries.
